Reminds me of the Alien movies :P
that's because warhammer 40K took stuff from right about everything :)
There áre people who model their tyranid army in such a way that they look exactly like the Aliens from the movie: Aliens
Although tyranids are mainly linked to starship troopers (the book from the 50s or so).

One day i shall finish my entire 'nid army conversion, one day....

I actually really finished the thrope now, inking, basing and varnishing. Now it can go do battle.
Thinking of trying a psychic choir for fun.

It does look like the alien, thats the first thing that popped into my head..
Good thing i dont believe in thread jacking or else i'd post my still paint in progress hormie that has been converted to be more aliens-like.
