Meeting a Ms. psycho bitch

I was biking towards the city centre with a friend of mine when around 10 yards infront of us we hear a woman make a sound like UGH!!!(and then ten times as irritated) like she forgot something.

So my first reaction was like..hmm yeah she probably remembers she forgot something and has to turn around. Have it all the time, annoying as hell. She turns around and I can barely hold my smile but we say nothing.

Before we know it she screams something along the lines of "CAN'T I BIKE ANYWHERE WITHOUT PEOPLE AROUND ME!!!!!!"

It was a big 'WTF' for us... We didn't do anything to piss her off and she screamed it out like we just punched her in the face or something. I hope it was just a bad day for her...but she sure fit the description of a psycho bitch who you wouldn't want to encounter after dark.

Sounds as if this lady was nearing a meltdown of some sort.
Reminds me of a student I once had who was so annoyed with one of the boys in the class, that she hissed at him: "Can't you breathe more quiet!"
That's a pretty good measure of how bad HER day was.

The scary thing is, I sympathise with her. I've had moments like that when I'm out walking. I try and keep it on the inside though...

My only response to this lady would be 'pffft'

Maybe I would have thrown a 'whatever' in there for good measure.

@ Rol: yeah I know, but she really creeped us out for a minute there haha.

@ Lee: the whatever came after a couple of minutes.

Okay okay I have a story to share that didn't even make me react like Ms. psycho bitch.. Two days ago I was driving from San Marcos to Los Angeles [a 1.27 hr ride according to Mapquest] and 45 minutes in I remembered a pair of sandals I was supposed to deliver as a gift and guess what? I had to drive back and curse myself silently and kept staring at each gas station. If looks could kill. GRRR. The end.
