hehe red/orange.

The pics don't really show the real color very well I guess, but I'm still happy with them. And yes it's one bad-ass alien :)

Colors:
It is a red turning brighter and brighter.
Running from Scab red (yes really it has this color..don't get it on your fingers or you wíll think that you have cut yourself ;) )
to Red Gore (didn't think up these names myself) finally a layer/highlight of Blood-red was added.

(One Day) I shall do some bad-ass Aliens :P

Nice work on both, i also like the Guard (it actually looks bigger than i first thought, which for me to say, is something).

Any chance of a scale pic with the Guard and the Tyrant?

that'll be next weekend.
But yes, the guard is quite large :) One big guard dog, but it still has to jump damn high to protect a tyrant ;)
Maybe ordering a fetch helps..

lol, damn those xenos for taking our dna! And damn those foolhardy Eldar for letting them take theirs.

Looking good. Had any ideas on the colors of the base yet?

hmm base..

dunno yet.
Could do it 'streetwise' cause I already made it look like a sidewalk..shame is there is no room for anything else than just a quite flat base..or I would have to lift the guard entirely.

I think I'm gonna GS the part I didn't 'tile' and then make it cracked..and paint that like stone too. *ponders along*

I loved you blog. Your work is style. Do you only work with a toys criation or somethingelse? I know a lot of people who do similar work as yours here in Brazil and one of them opened a toy art store here in Sao Paulo. Please let me know the news always and fell free to write to me anytime, ok?

I paint miniatures made by a company called Games-Workshop.
You have to assemble and paint them and you can play a game with them called Warhammer 40 000.
But playing is optional of course ;)

I think I painted 2 or 3 miniatures from other ranges..but usually I don't switch systems.

A toy art store? Like a place to sell people's miniatures? That's a very nice idea. I know a lot of people do this via E-bay, but in a store you really know what you buy!

baking it and sending it might not be a good idea ;)

I could however bake something and make a pic of it...now only to find someone looking purty next to it haha.

speaking of baking..I should bake up a new post ...

They remind me of demonic possessed shrimp crossed lobsters. David Lynch crossed with Pixar.
