Concrete drill vs Metallica's Death magnetic : 1-0

I'm living in a flat appartment and on a regular basis they're doing 'maintenance' which sounds like they're building entire new appartments or something using concrete drills alone. So I decided to match Metallica's new cd to the sound of the concrete drills.

Outcome..I've got to put the volume up VERY VERY VERY loud before metallica even stands a change.

It's a lousy and especially lazy depiction but it describes the situation:

So I've been to the Disturbed concert at the Heineken Music Hall in Amsterdam and it was in one word: Awesome!



If you get a bit tired of the drumsolo, skip to 3.00 or something where the intro for Down with the sickness starts and listen to the 'crowd burn' they did..breaking it off for a sec.

There was a lot of moshing going on, but I couldn't find a youtube movie of it :(

I've been trying to learn how to work with my cam (canon eos 400d) by just messing around. I know I should practice a thing at a time with the handbook at my side, but I'm a bit lazy. So I just messed around a bit with under-exposure etc. I took the pics in a time-frame of around an hour or so.

It's a work in progress, but as soon as I get a decent clipper for making pins (to make stronger bond between the arms and the body) it'll be finished in about an hour or so.






Next up somewhere this week is a post with more sun-pic's. I've played around with my cam last week and I think I did a pretty decent job capturing one of the last summery evenings.
